Coming Soon: Flogger for WordPress

It’s that time of year – when many of us will be recommitting to daily blogging and exercise. I know I am. And to help, I’ve written and I’ve been using a WordPress plugin that lets you tag your daily posts with the kinds and amount of exercises you did that day.

I call it flogger – short for ‘fitness logger’ – and because a flogger is a kind of motivational tool (LOL)

It will soon be available on the WordPress plugin repository for you to add to your own blogs. In the meantime, you can see it in use here at the bottom of my most recent posts.

  1. Hello! I’m using your handy Flogger plugin and wondered if there is a function built in to sum exercises. I see that it keeps a tally of occasions that each exercise is tagged but not how many reps of each. My php is pretty rusty so I thought I’d ask before I went looking to modify your code!

  2. I hope it’s one that can be easily implemented. I’ve gotten my self into an exercise challenge that requires 20,000 repetitions over 2015. It would be nice if the software kept track for me!

Thanks for giving it a thought!
