Seamless Donations 2.5.0 for WordPress Released – now with Designated Funds

I am excited to announce that Version 2.5.0 of Seamless Donations for WordPress is now available here.

This release adds in a feature that many have requested – the ability to allow you to set up one or more designated fund choices that your donors can optionally direct their contribution toward when donating.

And, of course, all the donation views and reporting include the designated fund (if the donor picked one) too!

Enjoy and cheers!

  1. Hello Allen,

First of all …thank you so much for your hard work and for making Seamless Donation available to us. We are using it at both of our ministry websites http://www.JesusHigher.org and also http://www.PastorJedidiahMinistries.org It has been great!
One feature that I need to ask about because our donors are asking about it is the possibility to Check Box a donation as a Recurring Gift with an option to set the timeframe as weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
I thought we had that option in the Seamless Donations or the Paypal side but I did a demo transaction and did not find a recurring donation option. Any help would be appreciated as our Seamless Donation interfaces with out Paypal account. Thank you.

      Hi Jedidiah!

You’re welcome! There is work not yet done for recurring donations, but it will be available in a future release.

      Cheers…

  2. I must be missing something :) How do I change the Default donation amounts. I want to use $25, $150, $500 and Other (blank so donor can enter a custom amount). Can’t seem to find a place to change the defaults.

    Thanks!!

      Hi Barb!

Seamless Donations lets you pick from preset levels of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 in Seamless Donations >> Settings. The Other amount automatically appears.

There is no setting for 25 and 150, but I will be adding the ability to specify new amounts in an upcoming release.

      Cheers…

      …Allen
